Foreign investors can apply for Turkish nationality when they purchase at least $400,000 worth of real estate in Turkey and commit to purchasing real estate worth $400,000 from a notary public.

Turkey Citizenship through Investment

The Turkish government introduced a new fast track system to become a Turkish citizen.
You can apply for the Turkey Citizenship program if you buy a property worth 400.000 USD or bank deposit 500.000 USD in Turkish banks. You must keep them for 3 years.
You can also invest at least 500.000 USD in fixed capital or employ 50 Turkish people.

The Turquoise System

It is introduced in 2017. It is an alternative type of citizenship that grants almost full rights. Business executives, investors, and people who have skills or attributes in technology, economics, sports, culture, and arts can apply for the card.

Property and Residence Permit Holders

Property owners who have lived in Turkey for an uninterrupted period of five years apply for citizenship. Article 11 of the Law No. 5901 lists the necessary conditions for an uninterrupted residence permits. There is no minimum amount for property value.

Turkish Citizenship By Birth

According to Article 1 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 403, if you were born to a Turkish citizen mother or father in Turkey or abroad, you can claim to be a Turkish citizen.
If the parents are successful in their citizenship applications, children can also benefit from it. Anyone who has lost their Turkish nationality can also re-apply.

You can get citizenship after 3 years of marriage to a Turkish citizen. There are certain conditions for it. Some are to live together, refrain from behavior that could damage the marital union, and pose no threat to national security or public order.
